They Are Not Active In Winter
Barclay took the time to remind The Guardian that stink bugs aren’t active during the winter. They’ll need a warm place to hide until the weather warms up again. The way small insects hibernate is through a process known as “diapause.” We’re sure a cargo container sounds appealing to these gentlemen.
The Bugs Thrive In Warm Places
However, there is a more serious issue. Stink bugs not only love warm environments, but they flourish in them. They must be having a field day now that climate change is hanging over us. If global warming continues unabated, these creatures may become even more dangerous than they are now.
