Boundaries
Nancy, as a teacher, was well aware of the boundaries she could not breach. They had to draw a line between a student’s personal life and the student-teacher interaction. Having said that, Nancy was an experienced professional who realized that if the situation deteriorated, it may have a psychological impact on the kid and perhaps leave the youngster traumatized. After chatting with the youngster, it was evident that even he didn’t completely understand the family circumstances, which likely contributed to his mood. The toddler appeared to be having difficulty comprehending the dilemma.

A Difficult Choice
She had a moral obligation, to be sure. She wished she could assist this family, but her major concern was Camden, the young and vulnerable youngster in her class. The youngster adored his instructor and believed that the teacher was the only person who could assist him. Nancy informed the youngster that she would do all in her power to assist him, and she meant it. She was putting herself in danger by crossing lines she wasn’t permitted to cross. Despite this, she had to make a difficult decision before agreeing to assist him.
