Lee Starkey Today
Lee was diagnosed with a brain tumor a year after her mother, who died of leukemia at the age of 48, was diagnosed with the disease. She had to go through surgery and radiation therapy. In 2001, however, the tumor reappeared, forcing yet another round of treatment. Since then, Lee’s health has thankfully improved. She frequently attends her brothers’ concerts, as well as Stella McCartney’s (more on her later). Lee has been dating Kasabian/Beady Eye bassist Jay Mehler for a long time. Lee gave birth to triplets in 2009, which was a first for the Beatles. It’s not surprising that she and her family live in London.

Stella traversed the world as a child with her parents and their band, Wings (and her siblings). Stella’s shaky delivery, according to Paul, inspired the group’s moniker. Paul waited outside the operation room, expecting she’d arrive “on the wings of an angel,” but she arrived through an emergency C-section. This may have been a blessing in disguise because Stella is the most well-known of Paul and Linda’s daughters. In the fashion world, she has established herself as a well-known figure. Her fascination with fashion and sewing began at a young age.
