Almost everyone has grown up listening to Beatles songs, and at least some of us consider ourselves to be inspired by them. On the other hand, how many of us would claim to be their biological children? There are currently over 16 persons claiming to be direct descendants of the legendary Beatles!
The Children of the Beatles – Where Are They Now
Despite the fact that the majority of their children are biological, a few have been adopted or are stepchildren. Not only can you see the unmistakable likeness between the sons and daughters and their fathers in the list below, but you can also see that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Many of these Beatles forebears, some as young as children and others as adults, are accomplished musicians in their own right.
John Charles Julian Lennon
Parents: John Lennon and Cynthia Lennon
Born: April 8, 1963
Julian was the first of the Beatles’ children, appearing just as the band’s fame rose. Julian was the basis for three key Beatles songs as a child: John’s “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “Good Night,” as well as Paul’s “Hey Jude,” which was written to console Julian after his parents’ divorce. The father and son were divorced for a while after John abandoned Cynthia for Yoko Ono. In the early 1970s, they were reunited. Julian’s artistic endeavors had piqued John’s interest, so he bought him a guitar and taught him how to play. Julian eventually followed in his father’s footsteps. After that, he made a living as a singer, songwriter, actress, and director.
