Waiting Room
In the waiting area of the doctor’s office, Baby Roy was the center of attention. At this point, the holes in his nose were evident, and everyone around him was shocked to see what they witnessed. Susan didn’t pay much attention until the other people’s curiosity became obvious.

The other office workers made no attempt to conceal their interest. The few kids here wanted to go look, but their parents wouldn’t let them. Despite this, everyone seemed to have forgotten why they were there, each with their own health problems. Everyone wanted to know what was wrong with the infant. Susan did, too, to be fair.
