1969 Mustang
Larry Shinoda is the proud owner of this 1969 Mustang, as it turned out. This vehicle was sought for years before being discovered in 2011. What happened to it? Located in a barn near the Illinois town of Peoria. The prototype for the 428 CJ Mark One Boss 302 was this. When Shinoda was brought on to help with the graphics and name, the vehicle you see here was used as a canvas. And, strangely enough, it wasn’t until years later that the owner realized this car could have been worth a lot of money.
Chevrolet Cheetah
It’s a little difficult to find, but if you’re into rare muscle cars built to outperform the Ford Cobra, you’ll notice it right away. It’s a Chevrolet Cheetah, of course. Only 19 were built, mostly in the 1960s, but they were all BA cars. Even better, before his death in 2009, designer Bill Thomas gave the go-ahead to produce 100 more. Approximately three dozen had already made their way out of development and into another location.
