The family thought that the action of Kyle was odd. Perhaps something was hidden above them in the trees? A small animal, perhaps? Maybe they were taunting their puppy, thinking that he couldn’t capture them. All they noticed as they looked up, though, were twisted trees where in spring there would be leaves.
