Smith found that the bark was loose as he reached the oak. Kyle began barking really aggressively. Smith, feeling motivated, braced himself and peeled it back, revealing the hollow inside the oak. Suddenly, after he had stared into the shadows, his eyes became focused, and he stood up. It was not narcotics, though.
