After a night out, when parents don’t get a call from their children, it’s normal for them to freak out. We all know, as children, what it feels like to wake up with more than 10 missed calls from our mom or dad. Tony hoped that he was overreacting because his mind was running in too many different scenarios. Twenty hours passed without a word, though he wished Samuel would just come through the door. It has become evident at this point that something was wrong.

And during the night, Tony didn’t sleep, but he kept convincing himself that Samuel had too much of a fun time, and he just forgot to give his father a call. This scenario became less probable as Sunday night came around. Tony wanted to wait another night before he started to panic. He woke up on Monday morning, though, and his son was still nowhere to be found.
