Chumlee having a difficult time at school and trying to meet the academic requirements was one thing, however, there was also the fact the at one point he was bullied and was given a nickname. To some ‘Chumlee’ might not sound too bad, in fact, quite the contrary. But the real reason behind this all was in actual fact very mean and humiliating.

Cute Nickname But Cruel Intentions
So the story behind his nickname goes like this. It came from one of the characters from a ‘60s cartoon show called Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales. In the show was a rather plump walrus by the name of Chumley. The name just stuck and people then continued calling him this, which is by no means flattering in the least bit.
