Byron Jones

This one is a little bit of a no-brainer. Rumblings say that Dallas is not giving an extension to Jones (because of the potential Dak Prescott contract). Houston lost Kareem Jackson to Denver the last offseason. In comparison, following this present season, current starters Bradley Roby and Johnathan Joseph will also walk in free agency. Therefore, Houston would do everything possible to sign the player who is considered as the strongest defensive back by those of the free-agent community. (Prediction: Houston Texans)

Melvin Gordon

Since he holding out for a contract renewal that never arrived, Melvin Gordon did not even look fantastic this year. Although that’s not to suggest that it’s unlikely for him to get back to the Pro Bowl stage, the Chargers seem happy with Austin Ekeler, the cheaper alternative. Gordon will do well to catch passes out of the backfield, and with the Chiefs needing a lead running back, it seems like Kansas City is a better match for this future marriage. (Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs)
