The thing that scares us the most about this sign is that you can’t tell if it’s a joke or not. The issue is that it’s simple to bond with a friendly stray dog and make it difficult to let him go once you do. However, people should always keep in mind that a dog wearing a collar already most likely belongs to a family. You can always keep your own dog at home! Ideally, signs like this one are humorous more often than not.
